Stages 1 – 7

There is no better feeling than learning to swim and no matter what age your child starts their journey with us that is exactly what we will get them doing! Our small group classes mean your child will get plenty of assistance from their expert teacher and lots of opportunity to practice their skills. We will teach them all 4 swimming strokes and a full range of contrast activities. Each time they achieve a badge you will have the opportunity to order their personalised award directly to your home. We will give them the swimming foundation to take it right to the top level, who knows they may well be the next Rebecca Addington or Adam Peaty but achievement aside we want all of our members to develop a lifelong love and confidence of being in the water and swimming.

Squad / Competitive swimming

Stages 7 – 10

We have junior squads at Zambezi where we introduce swimming training, diving, starts and turns. Rookie Lifeguard is also incorporated into the lessons and is great for personal lifesaving skills and emergency situations. We have a club scout from White Oak Swimming club that attends on a quarterly basis inviting those that are ready to join the cub team.

Lesson Locations

We have a range of facilities available for our small group classes including

• Royal Park Primary Academy, Sidcup

Lessons run here every evening afterschool and Saturday and Sunday morning. This is a fantastic warm teaching pool and is suitable for beginner swimmers up until children have achieved the Swim England Stage 3 award

We have a maximum of 5 swimmers per class at Royal Park School

• Marlborough School, Sidcup

Lessons run here on Monday and Tuesday evenings. This is a perfect hydrotherapy teaching pool offering both a shallow end and deeper water enabling classes suitable for beginner swimmers to continue here until they have achieved their swim England stage 4 award

We have a maximum of 5 swimmers per class at Royal Park School

• Colfe’s Leisure Centre

This is a fantastic 25m pool suitable for beginner swimmers all the way through to squad swimmers. Sessions run here on a Sunday morning between 7.15am – 8.45am

• Bromley High School

This is a fantastic 25m pool suitable for beginner swimmers all the way through to squad swimmers. Sessions run here on a Sunday afternoon between 1.30pm – 3.00pm

• St Michaels School, Otford

This is a fantastic 20m pool suitable for beginner swimmers all the way through to squad swimmers. Sessions run here on a Thursday evening between 6.15pm – 7.45pm

• Shooters Hill Post 16 Campus

This is a fantastic 20m pool suitable for improver swimmers all the way through to squad swimmers. Sessions run here on a Wednesday evening between 7.30pm – 8.30pm

Session Cost

We can either take bookings as a block of 12 sessions. To book a course of 12 weeks it is £151.80 (£12.65 per session) or you can book using the direct debit option this is £45.33 per month.

If you miss a session we are happy to offer a catch up class in any of our other suitable sessions with availability

Progression

We have your child’s whole swimming journey covered with Zambezi and will progress them through our programme all the way through to our squad classes and the opportunity to join a swimming club.
