From your very first session, we’ll help you and your baby feel confident and relaxed in the water. Our lessons are filled with songs, toys and plenty of fun, creating a positive and nurturing environment where your little one can begin a lifelong love of swimming.

Each class focuses on building core aquatic skills while supporting your baby’s physical, intellectual and social development. As part of the programme, children progress through the Swim England Discovery Duckling awards, which can be ordered directly to your home.

The pool is a warm, dedicated teaching pool used exclusively for lessons, creating a calm and welcoming space for both you and your baby.

Session Times

Each lesson lasts 30 minutes and runs on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings between 10:00am and 12:00pm. Classes run during term time only and pause during school holidays. Up-to-date availability can be viewed on our booking page.

Small Class Sizes

We limit each class to just 5 children, allowing our experienced instructors to provide individual support while creating a friendly and social learning environment.

Progression Pathway

By the end of the Parent & Baby programme, children will be confident and ready to progress into independent lessons.

At Zambezi, we support your child’s full swimming journey — from their first splash through to squad sessions and opportunities to join a swimming club.

Children must be 3 years old before moving into Ducklings.
