Pre-School Swimming Lessons

Our Discovery Duckling swimming classes are the first stage of your child’s swimming journey that they complete without an adult in the pool. Available across a number of our swimming locations, including Royal Park in Sidcup and Radnor House Sevenoaks, our lessons provide a fun and supportive environment where children can develop their swimming skills and water confidence.

Children are encouraged to move independently around the pool, submerge under the water to collect treasure and work towards their Swim England Duckling badges as they progress through the programme. With spectating areas available at our pools, parents and carers can watch their child grow in confidence and develop their swimming skills.

Small Groups

Our classes allow a maximum of 5 children per group, allowing our experienced instructors to provide individual support while creating a friendly and social learning environment.

Pool Locations

We offer pre-school swimming lessons at a variety of pools across South East London and Kent, giving families plenty of options to find a class that works for them.

Royal Park in Sidcup is one of our key locations, offering weekday and weekend pre-school lessons, while Radnor House Sevenoaks offers weekend sessions.

We also provide pre-school lessons at other locations across the area, so you can find a session that fits your schedule and is convenient for your family.

Pricing + Direct Debits

12 Week Course = ÂŁ151.80 (ÂŁ12.65 per session)

Monthly Direct Debit = ÂŁ45.33 per month

In-pool instructors

Having teachers in the pool means children receive hands-on support, gentle guidance, and immediate correction when they need it. It helps build confidence faster and creates a safer, more encouraging learning environment.

Progression Pathway

We have your child’s whole swimming journey with Zambezi covered and will progress them through our programme all the way through to our squad classes and the opportunity to join a swimming club.

Royal Park Primary School

Riverside Rd, Sidcup DA14 4PX
  •  Each session lasts 30 minutes
  • Sessions run on a weekday (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings) between 10am and 12pm and also weekends (9:30am – 12pm)
  • Classes run during term time only and pause during school holidays.

Radnor House, Sevenoaks

Combe Bank Dr, Sundridge, Sevenoaks TN14 6AE
  • Each lesson lasts 30 minutes
  • Sunday mornings – 10:30-11:30am
  • Classes run during term time only and pause during school holidays. Up-to-date availability can be viewed on our booking page.
