From your very first session we will fill you and your baby with the confidence to thoroughly enjoy being in the water. We use songs, toys and lots of FUN to ensure your baby is happy, confident and starting a life long love of swimming. In each session, we develop core aquatic skills, whilst also promoting physical, intellectual, and social benefits.  Your baby will be progressed through the Swim England Discovery Duckling badges that you can order directly to your home.

Parent and Baby Lesson Location

Our Parent and Baby Swimming lessons take place at Royal Park Primary Academy, Sidcup. The pool is a fantastic warm teaching pool and used only for swimming lessons so is a calm, welcoming environment for you to enjoy with your baby. Free Car Parking is available on site and spectating is available if any other members of the family want to come along and watch.

Session Times

Parent & Baby Lessons are 30 minutes and run on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday mornings. Class times are 30 minute classes between 10am – 12.00pm. Classes run term time only and stop in the school holidays. Live availability can be found here.

Class Sizes

We have a maximum of 5 children in a class, this ensures that our experienced instructors can give you all the support and guidance you need whilst also giving your child a fantastic environment to be inspired and socially interact with other children.

Session Cost

We can either take bookings as a block of 12 sessions. To book a course of 12 weeks it is £151.80 (£12.65 per session) or you can book using the direct debit option this is £45.33 per month.

If you miss a session we are happy to offer a catch up class in any of our other suitable sessions with availability

Progression

At the end of our parent and child programme children will be confident enough to attend lessons without adult assistance. We have your child’s whole swimming journey with Zambezi and will progress them through our programme all the way through to our squad classes and the opportunity to join a swimming club.

Children need to be 3 years old before moving into Ducklings.
