Crash Course Booking

  1. Select the class that you would like to book - the system will only accept bookings for the full 4 days of the crash course. The time you select will remain the smae for the 4 consecutive days
  2. If you are already a zambezi member and have a homeportal account use the same login information or setup a new profile that will be useable across the online bookings.

Zambezi Sports Camps

Our Zambezi Holiday Sport Camps are a fantastic opportunity for you to give your child a chance to have the most amazing jam-packed days in the school holidays!

£24 per day or £80 per week

Camps are for primary school aged children 

Activities
From start to finish your child will be engaged in a range of different sports. Children take part in 2 sports in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. Fitted around those we squeeze in some fun games and activities.

All you need to do is pack them with a packed lunch and snack, a refillable drinks bottle and if it is a swimming day (Monday or Wednesday) their Swimming Kit and you can be sure they will enjoy a fantastic day with us!

As well as Football, Tennis, Archery, Tag Rigby, Tri-Golf, Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Gymnastics we have the following activities -

Monday - Swimming
Tuesday - Go-Karts, Disco Ball Inflatable and Obstacle Bouncy Castle
Wednesday - Swimming
Thursday - Forest School

The safety and welfare for everyone at Zambezi is of paramount importance to us and we will therefore be implementing the most up to date Coronavirus health and safety guidelines throughout.

These include-

1) Personal Protective Equipment - Our team will have access to PPE Equipment and will be able to chose if they wish to wear a mask throughout the day. 

2) Contactless sign in / out - Our socially distant sign in / out areas will be in place and camp leaders will sign your child in/ out on your behalf, please note it is important to advise if someone different will be picking your child up and they should attend with appropriate ID

3) Camp Bubble - the holiday camp will be treated as a bubble

4) Activities - All of the activities carried out will be carefully selected to maximise the fun your child will have whilst also limiting the risk. Activities will include, tennis, football, archery, golf, forest fun.

5) Covid Secure Camp - It is imperative that you or your child does not attend  if they have or are displaying Covid-19 symptoms. Equally if they have come into contact with anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 14 days.All team members and children will have their temperature taken at sign in.

Photography

  1. If you have withdrawn your consent for photos your child will be given a wristband to wear at sign in, if your child is not given a wristband and you would not like any photos of them to be taken please inform the sign in team.

Medication

  1. All medication must be handed to the camp manager at the start of the camp day, all children with any medical condition will be issued with a wristband to wear

Misbehaviour

At Zambezi we want every child to enjoy their time with is and therefore enforce the 3-strike rule. We will not tolerate any foul language, bullying or aggressive behaviour. Children will be made aware of the rules and team leaders will be there to ensure these rules are adhered to. If in extreme cases we feel there is a problem our camp manager will contact you.

Please do not pack

Please do not allow your child to bring any items of value including mobile phones, iPad, tablets or computer games. We also advise your child does not wear any jewellery due to the sports that they will be participating in.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if my child has a disability?

At Zambezi we do our best to cater for all abilities, however if you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.

Do I need to pack my child a packed lunch?

Yes please! All children will need to come equipped with a packed lunch and a drinks bottle that we can refill throughout the day (NO fizzy drinks please!)

What else will my child need to bring?

Please ensure you send your child with sun cream, hat and clothes suitable for having fun! 

What should my child not bring to camp?

Please do not allow your child to bring any items of value including mobile phones, I pods, or computer games. We also advise your child does not wear any jewellery due to the sports they will be participating in.

What if my child has medical needs?

ALL medical needs must be declared on their homeportal account, we then request that any medication your child may need is given to our appointed first aider, complete with childs name, your contact details and instructions for use! NO children must be allowed to carry their medication on them.

Due to reduced capacity limited spaces are available for our activity days so be sure to book your space now!

Swimming Crash Course

The Zambezi Sports School swimming crash course is a great way to introduce your child to swimming or to brush up on the current techniques that your child is learning in their weekly lessons.

Our swimming crash course includes 4 x 30 minutes classes at the same time consecutively each day.

Children will cover a range of skills throughout the course and lessons are delivered in small groups (maximum of 4 children) or One to One Sessions available.
