Sport Camp Booking

  1. To Book all 3 days of sports camp (18th, 19th and 20th February) ensure you select the 'February Half Term Sports Camp - 18th, 19th & 20th 3 DAY BOOKING WITH DISCOUNT' This will ensure you receive the discounted rate for booking the whole course
  2. To book individual days of camp i.e just the Tuesday or Tuesday and Wednesday select the appropriate 1 day camp option - 'February Half Term Sports Camp - 1 Day Camp -Tuesday 18th February' - multiple bookings can be added to your basket. Use this option if you do not want to book the whole course
  3. If you are already a zambezi member and have a homeportal account use the same login information or setup a new profile that will be useable across the online bookings.

Crash Course Booking

  1. Select the class that you would like to book - the system will only accept bookings for the full 4 days of the crash course. The time you select will remain the smae for the 4 consecutive days

Zambezi Sports Camps

Our Zambezi Holiday Sport Camps are a fantastic opportunity for you to give your child a chance to have the most amazing jam-packed days in the school holidays!

The camps are suitable for children aged 3 years – 11 years old and run at the fantastic facilities available at Royal Park Primary Academy, Sidcup, DA14 4PX.

Facilities at Royal Park Academy include-

The facilities above provide a safe, inspiring and enjoyable surroundings to provide the highest quality holiday activities for your child.

Our sport camps are run with our Zambezi ethos prime in our objective-

‘To ensure sport and activity is enjoyed by all of our participants. Sport is a great way of not only giving the basis for a healthy lifestyle but also allows children to gain valuable social skills and confidence gained from healthy competition and teamwork. Every child will be encouraged to reach their full potential, but most importantly enjoy their time with zambezi. We hope to inspire children to take up sport and develop active, healthy and sustainable lifestyles.’

Zambezi Sport Camp Activities


Children of all abilities will be given exemplary tuition, using Zambezi’s unique, fun interactive style of teaching Children will be taught stroke techniques and life saving skills through structured ability group lessons! We won’t stop there, children will then be given the chance to enjoy pool play activities. Children will all enjoy an hour of swimming a day, all of which will be supervised by fully qualified ASA swimming teachers and lifeguards


Whether your child is just starting out or want to use their bike more safely and more often. Our professional instructors will help you develop better, safer cycling skills and confidence.


From ball skills to tactics and fun all thrown in you won’t find a corner to hide in! Fun and fair play will be the order of the day Fitness will improve whilst you participate in circuits, shuttle runs and sprints!


Speed burst of a cheetah or stamina of a zebra. The strength of an elephant or the spring of a gazelle Discover your aptitude for athletics and participate in various events


Boxercise develops your child's concentration, confidence and social skills in a sociable and fun environment. A great activity to improve hand eye co-ordination, stamina, strength and speed.


Show rhythm and agility as you strut your best moves. Listen to the music, join in with the songs and you can do no wrong! Our cool dance instructors will show you some moves and simple routines!


Pilates, in the words of its founder, is the ‘co-ordination of body, mind and spirit’. It offers a balanced blend of flexibility and strength training.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if my child has a disability?

At Zambezi we do our best to cater for all abilities, however if you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.

Do I need to pack my child a packed lunch?

Yes please! All children will need to come equipped with a packed lunch and a drinks bottle that we can refill throughout the day (NO fizzy drinks please!)

What else will my child need to bring?

Please ensure you send your child with sun cream, hat and clothes suitable for having fun! All children will also need to bring their swimsuit and towel. Goggles can also be used

What should my child not bring to camp?

Please do not allow your child to bring any items of value including mobile phones, I pods, or computer games. We also advise your child does not wear any jewellery due to the sports they will be participating in.

What if my child has medical needs?

ALL medical needs must be declared on their homeportal account, we then request that any medication your child may need is given to our appointed first aider, complete with childs name, your contact details and instructions for use! NO children must be allowed to carry their medication on them.

What if my child is badly behaved?

At Zambezi we want every child to enjoy their time with us and therefore enforce the 3 strike rule. We will not tolerate any foul language, bullying or aggressive behaviour. Children will be made aware of the rules and team leaders will be there to ensure these are adhered to. If in extreme cases we feel there is a problem our camp manager will contact you

Swimming Crash Course

The Zambezi Sports School swimming crash course is a great way to introduce your child to swimming or to brush up on the current techniques that your child is learning in their weekly lessons.

Our swimming crash course includes 4 x 30 minutes classes at the same time consecutively each day.

Children will cover a range of skills throughout the course and lessons are delivered in small groups (maximum of 4 children) or One to One Sessions available.

Our next crash course will be Monday 17th February- Thursday 20th February 2020 at Royal Park Primary Academy, Sidcup, DA14 4PX.

This crash course is suitable for children aged 3 years + and beginner to Stage 3 swimmers.

Class guide below-

Turtle Class

These classes are for beginner swimmers 

 In this class stage 1 and 2 of the British Swimming awards will be taught.

 If your child has not achieved any previous stage swimming awards with a recognised provider this is the class that you will be required to book.


Baby Hippo Class

To be eligible to book this class children must have achieved their stage 2 badge with a recognised swimming provider. If they have not achieved their stage 2 they must book into a turtle class, if on the first session they are assessed to be of a higher ability than the turtle class we will contact you with more suitable class options.

 In this class stage 3 and 4 of the British Swimming awards will be taught.
